AFF (Accelerated Free Fall) - Accelerated Freefall Training

Become a certified skydiver in 8 jumps!

The AFF course is the most modern and effective method to learn independent jumps with a parachute. Skydive Latvia offers professional skydiving training according to USPA (United States Parachute Association) and FAI (Fédération Aéronautique Internationale) standards - the only ones in the Baltic States!

Course Structure and Content

Theoretical training (Ground School):

  • 4-6 hour intensive theory course
  • Safety procedures and equipment use
  • Freefall technique basics
  • Canopy control principles
  • Emergency situation procedures
  • Price: €40 (theory course registration)

Practical training - 8 level program:

  • Levels A, B, C - jumps with 2 instructors
  • Levels D-H - jumps with 1 instructor
  • Each jump from 4000m altitude
  • 60 seconds of freefall
  • Personalized approach for each student

Important Information

What's included in the course price:

  • 8 AFF level jumps (one attempt for each level)
  • All necessary equipment
  • Instructor accompaniment and training
  • Theory course

What's NOT included:

  • Repeat jumps in case of unsuccessful level (repeat jumps)
  • Medical certificate

Requirements for students:

  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • Mandatory medical certificate from family doctor or sports doctor
  • Weight limit: up to 100kg

Certification

Upon successfully completing the AFF course, you will receive:

  • Certificate for independent solo jumps
  • FAI (internationally recognized) license
  • Upon request - additional USPA license (for additional fee)

Note: AFF course completion gives the right to perform independent jumps, but it is NOT an "A" category license. To obtain an "A" license, additional jumps and requirement fulfillment are needed.

Course Process

  1. Registration for theory course (€40)
  2. Medical certificate submission
  3. 4-6 hour theory training (in groups of 4-5 people)
  4. Practical jump execution (maximum 2-3 jumps per day)
  5. Video analysis (after each jump)
  6. Certification after successful completion of all 8 levels

Repeat jumps: If a student doesn't fulfill level requirements, a repeat jump will be necessary for additional fee.
